The Where to Eat Guide and Associates (WTEGA), LLC, and The Eat Guide (TEG), LLC, were started by owner and publisher John Herbik in 2005. The objective was to create an effective, first‐class publication and website designed to help restaurants effectively market their establishments and to help patrons find great restaurants in which to eat.

WTEG restaurants (advertisers) are committed to the quarterly publication because of its look/design, frequency, affordability, broad distribution, and usage. They also highly favor the added promotional/marketing benefits of website, newsletter and social media marketing, including Facebook, Twitter and blogs. In the regions served, the WTEG has become the preferred publication for leading hotels and resorts concierge services, as well as local consumers.
