  we love eating at Hola. It is always consistent, the food is wonderful, with fantastic service. margaritas are tasty, and the atmosphere is pleasing as well. never had a bad experience here.

Hola! is great. Everything here is delicious from the table side guacamole, which is perfectly made and delicious, to the large variety of meals to choose from, all of which are wonderful. Everyone will enjoy this amazing restaurant.

I should be selfish and not share my review for this great place to eat because it will make it only busier, but I do not want it to fade away like so many of the local restaurants in this recession. There is not a better place in Bend for "Mexican Food" but Hola is not really Mexican - it is Peruvian which adds another dimension to the food - an additional touch of gourmet flavors. The tortilla/chicken soup is the best I have ever eaten - with lots of fresh chicken white breast meat. That alone could be a meal but it is tempting to add something like empanadas which are extraordinary with a great fresh salsa and sauces. It is hard to leave room for anything after the crispy fresh-made tortilla chips with green and red sauce that begin every meal. The restaurant is managed and staffed by a wonderful family who have expanded to two other locations in Bend and Sunriver. The one that is part of a shopping center on Hwy 20 is the original and is good for a quick lunch or dinner. For a more lively location the one in the Old Mill adds a party feel and you might need reservations. I haven't been to Sunriver yet, Oh - I nearly forgot the great drinks - the most creative mojitos and margarita flavors - and they bring the shaker so it is like two drinks.

Whether it is East side or Old Mill, my favorite spot for pre-movie dinner & drink! Shrimp enchilidas and the "Super Margarita" are what I go to every time, but I think it is the staff that really turn Hola! into a fun and special place.

This place hits the mark. They have a great presentation, great flavors, great value with cocktails, and commited working owners. Have been to both places for lunch and dinner and have never been let down.
