The Original Kayo's Dinner House is back with Chef owner, Kayo, just like the old days from 1982-2005. An affordable fine dining experience specializing in seafood and other Northwest products.
I went to Kayo's for the first time with my boyfriend the beginning of this week. Being the first time I had ever visited this resturant I had no idea what to expect. I was thoroughly impressed with the service and the food was excellent. I ordered a house salad and ahi tuna wraps and wrapped up our meal with creme brule(which was soo good!) I want to go back just for the ahi wraps! Kayos is a great place to bring the whole family. The staff was very personable and we got to meet Kayo himself, who was so freindly. You can tell he loves to cook and takes pride in what he does.

Eat here with my family all of the time. Best seafood and steaks in the area no question. Excellent service and warm friendly atmosphere. The specials in the lounge are ridiculous! Monday Madness $2.50 cheeseburgers and spirits - so great! And, they've even recently added comedy on Thursdays. I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone looking for a superior meal at a very reasonable price. Never been disappointed, not once!

My 4 daughters and I recently went to Kayo's on Ladies nite! What a good time with so many people and delicious food. The lemon drops were delightful as well as the fetuccinci, which was over the top delicious! But even better was seeing Kayo come out and talk with his patrons! Top notch food and service and great atmosphere. Thanks, we celebrated my youngest daughter's 22nd birthday!

Every dinner we have had at Kayo's has been fantastically delicious. The presentation is mouth watering and delilghtful. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. The staff is excellent all the way down to the bus boys. We have recommended Kayo's to friends and family, and they all return. What more can we say?

This is my new favorite restaurant in Bend. The Prime rib is the best in town and the service is always wonderful. They kill it with the awesome berry cobbler that deserves a standing ovation. And with Kayo himself making appearances, the night is fully complete.

Kayo's is the place to go for anyone wanting a nice evening out. The restaurant offers a quiet dining area serving some of the best steaks, seafood, and entrees in Central Oregon. The waiter made the night enjoyable and was very friendly. The lounge is open later and is a great place to go out with some friends and mingle. Kayo hit a home run with this reprise.

My husband and I went to Kayos for our anniversary. Our meal was excellent. I had Halibut Parmesan and my husband had the 12oz Prime Rib both were excellent tasting. Our waiter was very pleasant but had a little problem with getting us our 2nd drink and final checks. Overall he just needs a little more training.

We had no idea what to expect when we went to Kayo's on Mother's Day, so we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and attention from both our waiter rob and chef/owner Kayo. The food was very good, although more costly than what we were expecting to pay. I will definitely go back.

We had gone to Kayo's for happy hour and were impressed by the quality of the food, so we thought we try the dining room. Everything was very comfortable. Food was delicious and well prepared. The green beans were just perfect, cooked but still crisp and bright green. My prawns were HUGE and very tasty. My husbands steak was charbroiled on the outside and pink in the middle. And the bar knows how to make a mean martini!

went to Kayo's last night for the early dinner ~ 5-5:30pm..not only was the hostess and waitress professional, attentive, polite and courteous, but during our dinner, Kayo himself came by our table to ask us if everything was alright and to tell us about his cable tv appearance for cooking in oregon where he'll demonstrate how to make that wonderful calvados sauce i had on the pork tenderloin...mmmm...
my friend and i weren't very hungry and when the huge portions arrived we both stated; "we'd never finish all of it" but...it was sooo good, we just couldn't stop eating so needless to say there wasn't anything for a doggy bag. We started off with wine (a very generous pour), then had salad and shrimp bisque, hot bread with a salmon mousse, i had the pork tenderloin calvados and my friend had the prime rib...best we'd ever had and the gouda/garlic mashed potatoes were creamy and not over powering, the fresh asparagus with lemon sauce were cooked al dente ~ as they should be! and they were the spring, tender asparagus...unfortunately we had absolutely no room for dessert but we probably should have gotten it to go....all in all 5stars and kudo's to you Kayo for knowing; "how it's done"...
