  I took my mom there a day early for Mothers Day. I had their version of the seafood pasta. It came with the clams still in the shell, which was neat. The flavor was amazing. My mom had the chicken pasta that has mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and roasted garlic. She said it was one of the best Italian dishes she has ever had. Definitely a place to go to!

  Number one, any Italian place that charges extra for the garlic bread automatically goes down a star in my estimation. I mean, come on! The pasta Bolognese had chunks of dry, overly salty meat. The sauce was not deep and rich, it was very so so. My partner's piccata had very dry chicken in it. Boring. We could have made much better at home.Thinking we might have better luck with dessert, we ordered the tiramisu. No discernable taste of either espresso or liqueur. This is Italian eating for those who don't know any better. Over priced, dull food.

My husband and I eat at Pastini once a week. Service is always friendly and fast and the food, excellent. I have tried nearly all of their vegetarian dishes and found them all to be good, but the veggie lasagna they added to the menu last summer is the best I've ever had - the noodles and vegetables are cooked to perfection and there is plenty of sauce with just the right amount of cheese. My husband orders it, too, but with sausage links added...We used to go to Pastini as a treat when we visited Portland; now we can treat ourselves anytime we'd like.

We had a coupon & used it for our anniversary dinner. What we selected was OK. Expected it to be better.

Pastini is a great restaurant to enjoy some pasta in a laid back environment. The food is like classic home made Italian. Specializing in, and mainly featuring pasta of course, Pastini has some great Pasta to enjoy before or after a movie, or on their patio during a concert.
