* Eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns are good.
* Stay home and make french toast.
* Boar sausage is awful.

Great little place on corner of Washington and 3rd. Great selection of salads, soups, hot and cold sandwiches. Not your ordinary sandwiches either. Tasty inspired!! Friendly staff and wifi to boot!!!

WOW. I can't believe I have never been here before. The Morning Star Cafe has a fantastic breakfast, lunch, and happy hour menu! Looking at the menus on-line, I had a hard time deciding whether to go to breakfast or lunch. I decided on lunch and it was excellent! I enjoyed it thoroughly, and now am very excited about going back to try breakfast. As a Pescatarian (I eat no meat except for Seafood), I was very impressed at how many Vegetarian options they offered. On the breakfast menu, they even offer cage-free eggs, veggie sausage, and veggie sausage gravy (wow)! They have something for EVERYONE, and at very reasonable prices. I am looking forward to my next meal at the Morning Star Cafe!!

Morning star is great. This is my favorite place to get an awesome breakfast in Portland. I almost always get the pancakes, which are honestly my favorites ever. They are great. The service here is excellent. Everyone will enjoy Morning star.

Some good vegetarian options that aren't bland and boring. Sophie sandwich is awesome and so is the cheese sandwich. Yum!
